HTH 210: Design and Leadership for Deeper LearningIn this course, participants deepen their understanding and skills in instructional design and leadership by connecting the theoretical underpinnings of constructivist learning with issues of design, assessment, ownership, and exhibition. For the final product, I co-designed a 5th grade playground design and parklet construction project with Grace Maddox.

HTH 235: New School CreationThis course provides an overview of the broad scope of issues involved in creating a school from scratch. For my final project, I interviewed students about their dream school and created a video of our shared vision.

HTH 205: Equity, Diversity and Design PrinciplesThis course explores the implications of culture—particularly the relation between “home culture” and “school culture”—for teaching and learning. My final project for this course was an equity audit around group work. Inspired by Cohen's (2012) Quiet, Lacy Szuwalski and I observed which students voices were not being heard and developed a plan to promote greater equity and access for all students in group work.

HTH 220: Leadership for School ChangeThis course explores how change happens in schools, and the informal and formal roles that teacher leaders and school leaders play in school change efforts. For my final project, I collaborated with teachers to co-design a professional development roadmap for the following year.
